This one-of-a-kind handmade necklace was designed around the bronze mask - it's a lost wax pendant from Africa. The original mold is handmade from wax and then it's cast with bronze, then the wax is melted to remove the finished piece - thus the mold is "lost" after just one use! I've accented the mask with five vintage Yoruba bells and made the chain from a combination of glass, bone, shell, and semi-precious gemstone beads from Tibet, Nepal, and Africa.
The necklace is 20" long, the pendant has a 2" drop, and the earrings are 1-1/4" long and hang from nickel-free posts.

Here you can see the lost wax mask up close - it has lots of fabulous detail. The Yoruba bells are vintage and have some wear, but the clappers are still intact and they give a pleasant jingling! On either side of the mask, you can see tiny bone rondelles, etched Tibetan agate, and glass reproduction dZi beads, also from Tibet.

On the sides toward the back of the necklace, there are more reproduction glass dZi beads - tube shaped, tiny bone rondelles, faceted Tibetan agate, and bronze and brass spacer beads. The dark blue bead is handmade glass from Nepal, and I've also added a series of tiny shell Heishe beads from Africa. The back is finished with 6mm wooden seed beads.

To the immediate left and right of the mask pendant are the large cream glass beads from Tibet, as well as black Tibetan bone beads. I've added a few dangling bronze findings from Central Asia, more shell Heishi beads from Africa, and the large bead is handmade fused glass from Nepal.

The matching earrings feature tiny round bronzed brass beads, bone rondelles, a handmade glass bead from Nepal, bronze beads and spacers from Africa, and an etched Tibetan agate bead. The bronze colored posts are nickel-free.
