Sometimes when I'm making a quick card or tag or even doing collage or working in my art journal, I want a quick adhesive without having to pull out liquid glues or matte medium and then deal with the cleanup. I also like these as a quick and easy way to put down an extra layer of adhesive for my washi tape. Just put down a line of glue with the glue stick, then lay the tape on top and rub and it will stick much better than washi tape alone.
This is hands down my favorite glue stick - it sticks the best of all of the ones I've tried. Just a hint... the key to getting these to stick well and permanently is heat and friction. I rub briskly over top of anything I've adhered down with a glue stick and it works great. I also like them because they stay wet just long enough that you can manipulate your pieces or layers before the glue is set.
