What's inside...
Printed Papers
Each Beautiful Butterflies Pack includes one of each type of paper shown to the left. You will receive one sheet of 9"x12" mulberry paper that has been hand-printed with my own hand-carved butterfly blocks. (Colors will vary.) Your pack also includes one sheet of beautiful butterfly printed paper from Italy - each sheet measures approximately 9"x6.75." The last paper may seem unusual, but this gorgeous three-ply butterfly printed napkin is fantastic when used in collage. Pull the layers apart and apply matte medium - the white background disappears leaving a beautiful butterfly design on your art journal page, mixed media artwork, or whatever you want to add it to! |
Vintage and Bead Trims
Your pack will include one of each of the trims shown to the right. You will receive one foot of vintage yellow fabric trim with a scalloped edge, embroidered with beautiful and colorful flowers. This trim is about 2" wide. You'll also get a foot of white flowered vintage lace, approximately 3" wide. Your pack includes another vintage trim with red, white, and blue stitched triangles surrounded on both sides by a strip of white lace. This measures about 1" wide. Finally, you'll receive two feet of a translucent and iridescent acrylic bead trim. I love this type of trim to wrap around dimensional elements, embed in clay... the options are endless! |
Dresden Trim & Printed Scrap
I absolutely love to use Dresden trim and German or English scrap in my work, and I'm so excited to offer it in this pack. I know you'll love it too! Each pack includes three Dresden butterflies from Germany. These are a metalized paper product - the gold layer makes them bendable and they hold their form! Each butterfly is about 1.5" wide. You'll also receive 19-20 butterfly images in varying sizes and colors cut from sheets of German and English Scrap. These are sheets of printed and die-cut images that have just a touch of embossing on each one. They're fabulous to use in collage art, art journaling, handmade cards, and much more! |
Beautiful Butterfly Embellishments
Each pack includes one each of the two types of butterfly embellishments shown to the right. One is made from wired plastic and accented with glitter, jewels, and dimensional paint, and is approximately 2" wide. The second is a printed and layered vellum butterfly with touches of gold foil and measures about 1.5" wide. |
Handmade Mulberry Paper
You will receive one piece of this stunning handmade mulberry paper from Thailand. Your piece will be at least 6"x6", and has a butterfly formed from leaves which are inserted as inclusions during the paper-making process. The white background of this paper is semi-opaque with beautiful fibers. Use it with matte medium to see the more translucent areas disappear onto the background, leaving you with fabulous texture and a gorgeous butterfly accent for your art journal, mixed media, or other paper crafts. |
Beautiful Butterflies Collage Cut-Outs
Last but not least, your pack will include all three sheets from my Beautiful Butterflies Collage Cut-Outs collection. Each sheet is filled with carefully curated butterfly images (believed to be in the public domain,) which have been edited to make them ready to cut out and add to your projects. Each sheet is 8.5"x11" and has been professionally printed on 80lb glossy text paper. |
Project ideas for this pack...
This jumbo ATC uses one of the collage cut-outs in a simple but effective way as a focal point for the card.

In this art journal spread, you can see how I've used the butterfly images as accents and a page divider.
|
This mixed media panel uses the Dresden butterflies. I added paint and ink and formed their shape before adhering to the panel.
