Printed Papers
Some of my favorite things about the orient are the beautiful patterns and the elegant flowing scripts. The papers in this pack reflect both of those characteristics. Your pack will have one 9"x12" sheet of hand-printed rice paper, each sheet printed with my hand-carved blocks featuring the Chinese symbols for prosperity and double happiness. (Note that this is printing ink, so you will need to check for color lift before using wet media on top.) You will receive one 8"x8" sheet of double-sided origami paper, as well as a 4.75" x 4.75" sheet of Yuzen / Chiyogami paper in beautiful patterns on a predominantly red background. The final paper is a handmade red Xuan paper with a gold foil dragon and phoenix that has been stamped with the symbol for double happiness. |

Exotic Ephemera
Your pack will come with several pieces of ephemera and book text, perfect for collage art, mixed media backgrounds, and art journaling. You will receive three different pages from Chinese calligraphy practice books (black printing, red printing, and a small sheet with both.) Your pack contains one sheet from a Chinese calendar I purchased at the Silk Market in Beijing - this is rice paper and is wonderful in collage! You will also get a folded page of text from a Chinese book, three sheets of Joss paper, a gold foiled good luck envelope for Chinese New Year, and a Chinese fortune card. |

Ribbon & Trim
Your pack comes with three different kinds of trim; you will receive one foot each of two fabric trims. One is almost 2" wide and is embroidered with Chinese characters, and the other is just over 1" wide with beautiful black dragons enhanced with gold thread. Your third trim is two feed of an acrylic gold pearl chain. I love to use this type of trim, especially in more dimensional work. This is perfect for embedding in clay, outlining dimensional objects, or creating texture. A little goes a long way, and this is easy to cut into smaller lengths. |

Washi Ningyo Paper Dolls & Beads
When I first ran across these origami paper dolls, I was immediately enchanted. When it came time to assemble these packs, I knew that one of these had to be included! Each doll is handmade by me with origami paper, cardstock, and crepe paper. Of course, every Geisha also needs a parasol, so each one comes with a color coordinated paper umbrella. Dolls are approximately 6" tall. You will also receive one glass cat bead. When I saw these, they reminded me of the cats with the moving arms seen in shop windows throughout Chinatown. With Sakura blossoms on their bellies, they had to join the fun! |

You will receive one professionally printed sheet of my Lovely Lotus cut-outs, featuring beautiful lotus and waterlily images that make perfect accents to your art journaling, handmade cards, and more.
