Eclectica³ EGL-44 is a set of 7 deeply etched, cling-mounted red rubber stamps that I designed for PaperArtsy. The set is inspired by some modern Indian patterns and includes elements that are great for borders, focals, accents, and for combining and repeating. These stamps are ideal for mixed media art, art journaling, cards, tags, scrapbooks, and more.
I call this set my Modern Indian Motifs as they were mainly inspired by some patterns on large columns in the baggage claim area of the Mumbai airport. I loved these patterns that were reminiscent of traditional woodblock prints, but in a more modern, almost doodled style. I used those to inspire designs drawn in my own hand with my own interpretation and then spun that into other coordinating designs. I also included a more square design that was inspired by a woodblock that I saw in a printing studio on that same trip to India. They're very fun for creating backgrounds, mixing and matching, making your own patterned papers, and lots more.
