The Woodblock Inspired Stencil Collection features a variety of detailed patterns, including a trio of birds, linear ornaments, and two flowers, perfect for creating patterns and images in your art journaling, mixed media, paper crafts, and more.
This collection of stencils that I designed for StencilGirl Products is so fun! (In my own humble opinion... lol.) They're inspired by a textile-focused trip that I took to India in 2022 and the patterns reflect the different styles and types of blockprinting that I was able to observe, and even try myself!
- There are beautifully detailed birds that make great embroidery patterns and are also perfect for coloring.
- The Tribal Ornaments are fantastic for repeating to make borders, corners, or frames or you can combine them to make medallions! (See one of my samples.)
- The flower stencils are unique and a bit unusual in their design, but come out beautifully. Think about all the items you could use to layer on top of the Round Flower Woodblock - sequins and buttons come to mind.
- All of the designs would also be beautiful with texture paste, paint, or traced for stitching or other techniques.
