This is part of a series of necklaces I made featuring pendants created from scraps of various fabrics. This particular necklace has a narrow, rectangular pendant made from a scrap of fabric embroidered in red and turquoise. It's attached to a long brass open bezel with red thread and adorned with reddish pink and turquoise Czech glass flower beads attached with red French knots.
The chain is beaded for about 2-1/2" on either size of the pendant and features turquoise glass beads and dark red glass pony beads, interspersed with tiny red beaded charms and larger brass charms from India. Long brass spacers lead into the small link chain that makes up the rest of the necklace. It's finished with a lobster clasp.
The chain measures ~21.5" and the drop on the pendant is ~2-3/8".
