Looking to get into watercolor but not sure where to start or don't want to invest a ton in order to start experimenting? This deluxe kit has all of the basics plus a few added options to let you try lots of different techniques. All in a great wooden carry case.

I put these kits together as an easy option for anyone who wants to get into watercolors with good quality products but without the need to commit to the cost of buying full-size packages of all of the different paints. I've also included a few options to go to the next level with different techniques like resist, salt, pigment powders, removing paint with a sea sponge, etc... This deluxe kit includes both regular watercolor and gouache as well as two of my handmade metallic watercolors (which a pretty awesome, if I do say so myself!) There are also nice quality brushes and an assortment of different types of paper for you to try out.
The whole kit comes in a sturdy, reusable wooden box that has hinged lid with a latch closure and a nice metal handle for carrying. The box measures ~6-3/4" long by 9-1/2" wide by 3-7/16" deep.
Kit Contents:
- 6 colors of ShinHan PWC Professional Watercolor in a 6-well palette
- Colors: Permanent Red, Permanent Yellow Light, Viridian Hue, Cobalt Blue, Permanent Violet, and Burnt Sienna
- 6 colors of ShinHan Professional Korean Color (hybrid WC/Gouache) in a 6-well plastic palette.
- Colors: Scarlet, Yellow Ochre, Green Light, Blue Green, Indigo, Burnt Sienna
- ShinHan Designer Gouache in Black & White (in shells)
- 2 colors of Handmade metallic watercolor in shells - gold and bronze (by Gwen Lafleur)
