These fish-shaped mini beeswax thread waxers work perfectly for making it easier to thread a needle or create your own waxed thread for bookbinding. The small size also makes them ideal to keep in your travel sewing kit and they come in a handy screw top tin.

These fish-shaped mini thread waxers are made from 100% cosmetic grade beeswax. I use the same process as my full-sized thread waxers, just with much smaller molds. I also tinted half of them with gold pigment just to make them even more fun. (I've been using the gold ones on threads of all colors, light and dark, and haven't had any noticeable color transfer.) You get four in a set, two gold and two natural. They're each about 1/4" thick and approximately 1" long. They come in a gold screw-top tin with a clear lid - great for transport or storage.

They're perfect for waxing the end of your thread to make it easier to thread a needle. I also use them to wax the entire length of the thread if I'm stitching with certain materials.
