"Ancient Energy" is an original piece of mixed media artwork on 10" x 10" canvas. It features a collaged and painted background with a dimensional focal ring with sari silk, beads, fibers, wire, and a piece of vintage Turkmen jewelry.

I created this piece to showcase my EGL24 rubber stamp set from PaperArtsy - I love all of the uses of the grid stamps and pairing them with the circles. The background is a 10" x 10" x 3/4" stretched canvas. I collaged, stamped, and painted in the background and there are bits of fabric on the edges to tie to the focal point, which is a richly embellished and dimensional ring.
The focal point ring is wrapped with sari silk, fibers, and beaded wire (the beads are mainly Czech glass. The ring is surrounded by collaged flower stickers with a stamped grid inside the ring that I colored with colored pencils I finished it off with a vintage Kuchi pendant from Central Asia (it's missing one of its stones - I kept it as-is.) The edges of the canvas have been painted black and it's ready to hang. I've also put canvases that were under an inch thick into ready-made frames, so that's also an option.
The piece is titled, signed, and dated on the back and will come carefully wrapped.
