"Underwater Fantasy" is an original piece of mixed media artwork on paper featuring layers of collage, paint, gold foil, and a focal of stamped and hand-colored images with a colorful fish swimming through an ornate, flower bedecked window.

"Underwater Fantasy" is a piece that I did to showcase how some of my rubber stamp sets with PaperArtsy could work together, despite their seemingly unrelated themes. This piece was done on paper, just over 8" x 8,"and features a collaged background with vintage maps, book text, and some of my handmade collage papers. It's layered with handmade rice paper circles, and the focal is layers of gelli-printed paint and gold leaf topped with hand-colored and painstakingly cut out stamped images. The colorful fish with its tribal feel is swimming through an ornate window surrounded by beautiful flowers... a true fantasy in this made-up underwater world!
The artwork is titled, signed, and dated on the back and comes matted in an archival 12" x 12" photo mat and is ready to frame. It will come with an illustration board backing in an acetate sleeve and it will be wrapped to prevent any damage during shipping.
