These beautiful silver Turkish face pendants are ideal for adding into statement jewelry or for use in assemblage or mixed media artwork. They could also be stitched into small textile pieces, or could be used on the cover or dangling from the spine of a journal.
I often see carved bone faces, but I was excited to find these silver pendants from Turkey that depict a partial face with the mouth, nose, and a single eye. Sold individually, each pendant measures about 1-1/2" long (~37mm) by 3/4" wide (~19mm) at the widest point. The features are also dimensional and at the deepest point is about 3/16" thick.
I thought these would be beautiful for making your own statement necklaces, but they would also be great in a dimensional mixed media piece mixed with beads and threads and / or wire or as part of a spirit doll or other figurative sculpture. The size and shape present a huge variety of options!
