The Sakura Pen-Touch paint marker with the 2mm tip is filled with a beautiful metallic gold archival quality ink that's chemically stable, waterproof and fade-resistant. It is also low odor and xylene-free and will be permanent on everything from paper or wood to non-porous surfaces like glass, porcelain, plastic, and metal.
The gold Pen-Touch metallic paint marker from Sakura is my absolute favorite and go-to gold paint pen. I use these on everything - I edge my art journal pages, mixed media pieces (both canvas and paper) and I even use them on wood. You get a beautiful even color and I like that the gold is very obviously shimmery and metallic, but it's not brassy or overbright. It works perfectly when you want to add a bit of bling or a luxe feel to your work. It's also perfect for handmade cards and tags, mini journals or scrapbooks, scrapbook layouts, accenting drawings, rock painting... pretty much anything where you need that touch of metallic.
The 2mm tip is my favorite - it's thin enough that I can do fairly detailed work but doesn't clog or dry out like a lot of the finer tip metallic markers. It's also thick enough that I can use it to color smaller to medium open areas. To use it the first time, shake it well and then prime the tip (which will be white) and pump it a few times on a scrap of paper until you start to see the ink seeping into the tip. Then you can usually just shake and use... you may need to pump again now and then, but like most paint pens, it can burp and send out a small puddle, so be careful not to get too enthusiastic.
This package contains one marker with a 2mm tip. Conforms to ASTM D 4236. Archival quality ink is chemically stable, waterproof and fade-resistant.
