Eclectica³ EGL-41 is a set of 6 deeply etched, cling-mounted red rubber stamps that I designed for PaperArtsy. The set is inspired by Persian floral designs and includes a medallion, a repeating background, and two different birds that incorporate florals in their design. This set is ideal for mixed media art, art journaling, cards, tags, scrapbooks, and more.

I am absolutely enamored with the beautifully ornate motifs of Persian design, in particular the florals. I took inspiration from those to create a hand-drawn set of rubber stamps that pairs these stylized flowers and flourishes with a bit of whimsy in addition to traditional decorative designs. The background pattern repeats perfectly to make larger backgrounds and is the perfect size for cards and tags, mini journals or scrapbooks. The medallion can be used with or without the small accent design that fits between the "petals." That stamp can also be used on its own or repeated to make other designs. The larger decorative motif can also repeat in several directions to make borders, backgrounds, or even focal points.
Of course, my favorites are the birds. The smaller one is perfect for creating accents but it also makes a lovely focal point in smaller projects. The large bird is my favorite of the set and one of my favorites of all the stamps I've designed. It's based on a sparrow, but I wanted to have the wings seem to morph into flowers with trailing Persian-style florals and flourishes seeming to come out from under and between the feathers.
All of the designs in this set stamp beautifully and, as you can see from the samples, they're also lovely for coloring with paints, pens, or markers.
