I love using fish as a motif in my work and when I found these adorable little fish appliques, I couldn't resist getting them for the shop! They're embroidered and sequined and ready to add to an art journal cover, a mixed media canvas, a handmade card, and much more!
These adorable little fish, available in red, yellow, or blue, measure 1-1/2" long by 1" wide. Each one has been embroidered and accented with small metallic sequins. I love to use these types of patches as an unexpected focal point on a mixed media panel, on the cover of a journal, or you can also stitch or iron them onto an art quilt, clothes, accessories... just about anything you can think of!
I adhere these with a strong glue for my mixed media work, but they have a heat activated adhesive on the back if you prefer to use them as a traditional applique.
