The Boho Stencil Collection features a variety of detailed patterns- shapes and animals, designed to work with Gwen's signature Boho Collage techniques, or for creating patterns and images in your art journaling, mixed media, paper crafts, and more.
My Boho stencil release features six new Boho Stencil designs, specifically made with my Boho collage techniques in mind. Use them to make your own collaged animals - flat or dimensional, or add stenciled focal points into your art journal, mixed media artwork, scrapbook pages, and more. You can color them with colored pencils, markers, acrylic or watercolor paint, pastels... the options are limitless! (In my samples below I've used paper and 3D collage, soft pastels, watercolors, and even beaded embroidery with these stencil designs.
The three boho animal stencils were inspired by the fish and bird collages that I started with; I expanded and updated the designs, then added some words and phrases that I commonly associate with each of those motifs. The three Boho circle stencils were all inspired by hand-carved woodblocks that I found on a trip to India.
The Collage Textures & Patterns, Circles stencil was designed with the idea of using it to make my own collage papers, but it also works perfectly for creating layers of texture and pattern on art journal backgrounds or in mixed media artwork. You can use it with texture and molding pastes for a great dimensional look. The designs can be repeated, or you can use just a section of them to achieve whatever look you desire.
