The StazOn ink pads and reinkers from Tsukineko contain solvent-based ink designed for decorating non-porous surfaces such as glass, metal, shrink plastic, cellophane, aluminum foil, leather and acrylic. The midi pads are smaller versions of the original StazOn ink pads, making them great for smaller projects.
StazOn solvent ink pads are a go-to for me. I love them because they stamp on non-porous surfaces and dry instantly which makes them ideal for stamping on top of any kind of glossy acrylic paint without getting smudges like with dye ink or having it rub off like Archival Ink can sometimes do. I use both sizes - the larger is great for stamping and for edging canvases and larger works while I like to use the smaller size to edge journal pages, cards, and smaller mixed media artwork; they're also great with smaller rubber stamps.
I use my ink pads so much that reinkers are a necessity for me. Although they're more expensive than the pad itself, one reinker is easily the equivalent of multiple replacement pads, so they're another must-have in my book.
