These beautiful handmade elephant patches from Thailand are sequined and embroidered by the Thai Hill Tribes on different colors of vintage velveteen. These patches are perfect for embellishing handbags, boho notebook or journal covers, apparel, and more.
I couldn't resist these blingy elephant patches. Handmade on a vintage velvet fabric, the elephants themselves are a bit puffy and stand up from the surface of the fabric. They're sequined and outlined with metallic embroidery. As they're each handmade and every one is slightly different, the exact shape of the elephant can vary and the sizes of the individual patches are all a bit different. Squares measure around 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" and rectangles are approximately 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" in size.
These would be fabulous on a handbag, on the cover of a handmade planner, or I've got one that's waiting to be stitched onto a fabric page in my art journal. They'd also be great in a shadow box or you could work them into a mixed media piece as a unique focal point.
