I absolutely love to use Japanese papers in my work - they add such a beautiful touch to collage or to backgrounds in an art journal or mixed media piece. A small piece of one of these gorgeous patterns can make a big impact in your work! Of course, Chiyogami paper (also called Yuzen paper,) tends to be quite pricey when purchased by the sheet (they can be as much as $22 each!) If you're looking for an easy and cost effective way to get a variety of patterns to use in your artwork and paper crafts, then these packs are for you!
The sheets in these packs are cut down from my full-sized sheets, and each of them measures 8-1/2" tall by 6" wide. There are luscious gold accents (I absolutely adore the sheet with black Japanese calligraphy on a gold background!) and the texture and feel of these papers is sublime. I've carefully selected these patterns and combined them based on the ones that I would use together, and I'm hoping that you love them as much as I do!
