These fantastic journals from Dina Wakley Media are available in two sizes with different page types. They feature heavy white cotton rag watercolor paper and the larger has multi-surface pages which also include kraft paper and fabric. They're ideal for mixed media, watercolor, sketching, painting, and more.
I generally make my own journals to use for art journaling, but when I do use a pre-made journal, I like Dina's journals a lot. The paper is one of my favorite parts - the white pages in these books are a heavy weight cotton rag paper which makes them great for watercolor as well as mixed media. They take gesso and paints beautifully, are perfect for collage, and hold up really well to layers and wet media in general. The larger journals have multi-surface pages including kraft paper and fabric. (The blue edition uses a denim fabric as you can see in the swatch in the images.)
