I'm a huge fan of POSCA paint pens, so when I saw that they had come out with a set of colored pencils, I had to try them. I was hesitant because of the price, but I knew the quality and vibrance of the pens and decided to take the chance. I'm so glad I did! The colors of the pencils coordinate with the marker colors and are vibrant and saturated. They go on smooth and nicely opaque and blend beautifully. (I use a Prismacolor Blender Pencil with these and it works great.) The package has a thick elastic closure that keeps the three trays and lids together when not in use, and having the pencils in trays is handy for spreading them out when you want to use them or just having a single color family if you're working in a monochromatic range.
I have and use Prismacolor, Derwent, and Caran d'Ache Luminance and Pablo pencils, and these stand up to those in terms of color and performance. I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do.
