This unique piece of mixed media artwork was created on a 9"x12"x1-1/2" cradled birch panel. The background features layers of collage, paint, ink, and embossing powder and layered on top is a dimensional collage made from metal, fused acrylic fibers, and paper. The bird is handmade from my own pattern out of chipboard which as been painted and embellished with paper collage, more paint, embossing powder, glass beads, German glass glitter, more fused acrylic fibers, rhinestones, and a silver Turkmen button for the eye.
