"Resignation" is an original mixed media artwork which measures 12" wide by 16" tall by 1-1/2" deep and was created on a cradled birch panel. I started with an original drawing (digitally drawn in Adobe Sketch) which was printed on pastel paper and then colored with soft pastels, sealed, and collaged. I've added texture with various acrylic texture pastes. The torso and the inside of the window are done in acrylic paint and acrylic gouache. I've used brocade fabric, vintage Turkmen jewelry, and a variety of semi-precious gemstones to form the pectoral / collar. Included are citrine (raw and tumbled,) jasper, and peridot. I've outlined the window, arm / shoulder with Czech glass bugle beads.
The piece is titled, signed, and dated on the back and will be carefully wrapped for shipping.
