This one-of-a-kind handmade necklace and earring set features three Mauritanian Kiffa beads (modern) as the focus and they're surrounded by African bronze, powdered glass, and vinyl Heishi beads. The red, blue, and yellow color scheme plays off of the traditional Kiffa bead colors, and the matching earrings make a perfect pairing.

This necklace set was designed around the Mauritanian Kiffa beads, which are named for the town in Africa where they're traditionally made. These are modern Kiffa beads (made after 1980,) and are handmade and hand-painted. I've paired these with a few other kinds of African beads in the same color scheme along with some Indian, Turkish, and Czech glass beads, and made them into a fabulous three-tiered necklace with matching earrings.
The necklace measures approximately 20" in length, the earrings are about 1-1/2" long.

Here you can see the focal section of the necklace, with the handmade red, yellow, and blue Kiffa beads centering the bottom strand. These are surrounded by bronze African beads. The large round blue beads are powdered glass from Ghana, and the dark blue disk beads are glass Ashanti beads. The spacers are glass, from India and the Czech Republic. The red disk beads are vinyl Heishi beads - sometimes called vinyl record beads because of their shape and material.
The single strand the goes along the back of the neck features a simple bronze colored toggle clasp that's easy to open, but stays secure while being worn.

Above, you can see the top section where the three tiers are connected together. The large red beads are also powdered glass from Ghana, the small blue seed beads are Czech glass, and I've added several yellow vinyl Heishi beads as well. Each side also has one small glass evil eye bead from Turkey.
The matching earrings have red powdered glass beads as the focal piece and those are bracketed with single vinyl Heishi beads. A small blue glass bead from India and a yellow Czech glass seed bead complete the look.
