This beautiful handmade tribal-inspired necklace and earring set features a bejeweled brass Turkmen pendant with handmade African glass beads finishing off the focal section of the necklace. The chain itself is 20-1/2" long with a brass bar and loop toggle closure. The pendant hangs 3-1/2," and the earrings dangle 1-1/8" inches from the hooks (which are nickel free.)
This beautiful Turkmen pendant is the star of the necklace; made from glass, it's set with red and green glass gems. I've attached it to a bronze colored brass bead and a large, handmade powdered glass bead - both from Africa.
Here you can see the back section of the necklace more closely - Czech glass seed beads, and the larger green cylinders and red round glass beads are from Nepal. The smaller green donut beads as well as the striped green seed beads are from Indonesia.
The surrounding beads include beautiful red glass tube beads from Indonesia, more of the African powdered glass beads, and small seed beads - the red and plain green are Czech glass and the green with stripes are from Indonesia. The larger red glass beads are from Nepal and I added two small red evil eye beads from Turkey.
The matching earrings are primarily made with Indonesian glass beads with the exception of the red glass seed beads on the top which are Czech. The brass loop hooks are nickel-free.
